I guess that this was the one that everyone was waiting for. The Big One. And it didn't disappoint. This was Developer Disneyland. Tech Themepark. Web Wonderland. And boy did they put on a show. Slick. Sophisticated. Sexy. However, back to Disneyland. I'm looking at my notes and I don't seem to have any! Like Disneyland you may wish to get in there doing the cynical Brit thing, but you get find yourself getting caught up in the entertainment of it all. You get suckered in. In a good way. Oh and like all good theme park it has a killer shop. Let the memories begin.
Google hit us with two themes in the theme park. The first was what new at Google. And this was a roller coaster ride through idea after idea. If you don't like this one, here's another. And another. We were obliged to sign an NDA so I can't tell you about them. But frankly there's so many I can't remember them. So here is my NDA busting scoop - boy they were coooool.
The second theme in the themepark was innovation. And here we had Google Cabaret from The Lion, oops The Innovator King. He was a dude. Had us eating out of his hand. Signing along in the aisles. If we weren't in California I think the entire IPA crew would have been on their seats swaying with their lighters above their heads. And like the Lion King you can only purr at the content. The Innovator King reigned supreme.
As will Google.
