My Agency has created a national advertising campaign for the Fostering Network to help drive recruitment of foster carers in England. The campaign dramatises the everyday, normal qualities that people already have and reveals to them to be precisely the qualities that make ideal foster carer material. The campaign applies a face-warping technique to normal portrait shots of people in everyday environments accentuating positive qualities in a fun, memorable and engaging way.
My Agency have created a toolkit of material for the entire recruitment journey - ten press ads, four posters and online banners to engage and motivate people to begin with, then a follow up information leaflet, reminder postcards and finally congratulations cards when people have been approved to foster.
This toolkit has will be used by Fostering Services around England to launch campaigns during Foster Care Fortnight – May 12th – 25th.
The campaign has been managed by the Fostering Network with funding from the Children’s Development Workforce Council.
